Having trouble getting my V-Moda Boom Pro headphones functioning correctly.
This device, connected through a provided adapter to the audio input/output panel of my Dell XPS 8100 running Windows 10, is exhibiting unusual behavior. I've also attempted connecting it directly to the motherboard without success. My microphone is connected to older Beats Solos headphones. Despite this connection, the microphone isn't recording my voice when I speak, but it *is* picking up sounds from the computer itself – specifically, when playing YouTube videos while a microphone test program is running. It appears that the PC isn't identifying this as a headset, and I haven’t located any relevant configuration options within my RealTek audio driver version 6.0.1.7541 (the latest available for my system). Do you have any suggestions?
Have you managed to resolve this problem in any way?
I’m experiencing the same difficulty when attempting audio recording using my V-Moda Boom with my Sony headphones – it’s capturing all sound originating from the computer, like YouTube videos or music, rather than my voice.
