Have you seen slow loading or bad video on YouTube or Netflix when using a wired PC connection?
I just tried something new. I cleared the IP stack in the console, rebooted my PC, opened a YouTube link, and suddenly got another 144p slow-loading video. I guess I'll keep using a VPN for now.
Yeah, I gave it a shot on my own and it still isn't working. Now I need to use your VPN hack trick, which is working perfectly. I might call Verizon tomorrow to find out their thoughts.
it was a few minutes late but i just checked youtube on a different computer that had its own ethernet connection inside our house and it worked perfectly. i thought maybe the problem was from my router or something so i turned off the vpn on my pc and tried loading youtube again, but nothing changed. it was still buffering like before, even though both the apple music player and youtube were working normally after I turned the vpn back on. this makes me think it's a specific thing for certain devices, and since we both had issues at the same time in the same spot, something weird must be going on right now.
Man, I am really worried that an old Windows update broke things. I am thinking about buying a new copy of Windows 11 to fix it all. Honestly, I do not want to worry about losing my stuff or reinstalling Windows 10.
I turned off my VPN around 8 AM this morning to download something, then forgot to turn it back on. But YouTube and Apple Music were still loading fine. When I tried again now, everything works just like before without using the VPN. So maybe something fixed itself for me sometime in the last 24 hours.
I messed up again, so things got really hard to work after I sent that one message. It first just took a long time to start loading. Then the page wouldn't even go anywhere. Now it's as bad as before except the video player is almost never able to load anything at all.
Having the same problem, I am using Windows 10 on Verizon Fios. My first guess was that my internet speed is too slow to handle sites like YouTube, but something strange happened: this problem only shows up when I use a computer wired directly into the router. It does not show up on wireless devices at all. On my Mac and Linux computers, even over the air connection, speeds were fine for streaming sites. However, my Windows machine has very fast wired speeds, and the network info looks clean, so I don't know what's going on. Other games like Twitch don't seem to have this issue either. Hearing that using a VPN helps is interesting and makes things even more confusing... I'm not sure what to do or how to fix it. Maybe I'll try a different IP address just in case. For anyone else reading this, here are the details about my computer: Edition of Windows 10 Home Version 21H2 Installed on February 21, 2022 OS version build number 19044.1766 Experience includes Windows Feature Experience Pack version 120.2212.4180.0
My internet worked fine again today. I did nothing special. It just happened on its own to start working.
Good luck. I stopped using it a long time back, but something suddenly worked fine again today without me doing anything different.
