Right away I closed IE, reset my browser settings, and ran Norton 360 plus malwarebytes to check for threats. Both came back clean. As someone who likes to be cautious, I contacted Microsoft for a remote check and they also found nothing. Since I’m still on the defensive, I went ahead and performed a full disk format and reinstalled Windows 8.1. How do you feel about it? Should I be concerned?
