I’ve noticed some strange black screen problems when the system idles on desktop, especially after moving the card. It seems like the issue might be related to the motherboard rather than just the card itself. I’ve tried reinstalling drivers and re-seating the card, but it didn’t help. The situation is a bit confusing since the previous slot with 1070 worked fine for a while. Could there be a hardware issue affecting this?

Its a long shot as it seems like a weird thing to be BIOS related.... but its possible. Try to update the BIOS? But, also, if its working in the lower slot, your fine. Just run it like that, but I would still try updating the BIOS and swapping it back just to know for sure.
