I recently purchased Windows 8.1 Pro and soon faced some issues where my system crashed after just a few hours. At that time, I was using Windows 7 and had never experienced such problems before. It’s confusing how Microsoft developed a product like this. Additionally, I’ve encountered difficulties launching BF4, especially when trying to open BattleLog in Origin.

I moved from W7 x64 to W8.1 Pro x64 without any issues, and I don’t think Windows 8 is the problem—just your own challenges.

Here’s a revised version of your list:

I7 4790k Maximus hero VII is paired with a Gigabyte 970 g1 gaming drive, 512 GB SSD from Seagate, paired with a Barracuda 2 TB H100i NVMe SSD. Corsair offers the Vengeance Pro 16GB RAM module at 2400 MHz. Evga Supernova G2 provides 750W power, boasting 80+ Gold certification. Corsair also has an Obsidian 650D for storage. Your system runs on a 64-bit Windows environment. Let me know if you need more details.

I don’t understand what BSOD means or the numbers involved, but your drives seem current. I didn’t find any BSOD information while searching.

I noticed that the post didn't assist me, but I've reached out to Microsoft. Perhaps they can provide a fresh key or solution.

It seems only explorer.exe failed, not the entire system. You may have performed an upgrade or a clean installation.

The entire system failed, a message appeared stating Microsoft Windows is no longer functioning. This was part of an update.
