My PC, around two years old, has been acting up lately when playing games. My Discord gets unstable too, and others seem to experience robotic lag while I speak the same way. Previously, launching Valorant was smooth, but now it’s frequent frame drops every ten seconds or so, lasting about five seconds each time. I recently upgraded my graphics card, motherboard, and power supply. My first thought is the graphics card (Gigabyte Gaming GeForce GTX 1660 OC 6GB). Please let me know if anyone else sees similar issues or has another explanation. Also, this happens when I use Chrome and stop loading videos or interacting much.
