They should try it. I’ve worked with a controller in Dragon Age and know someone who played Mass Effect (at least version 3) using one.

I just searched for it and found something that seems quite unusual yet entertaining.

Are you sure Origins lacked this element? The Mass Effect series is indeed narrative-focused, so starting with the first game would make sense to grasp the others.

The entire game is delivered without sounds or voices, with only one person providing everything. It’s exceptionally well-made and one of the most optimized, PC-ready versions available. It runs smoothly on keyboard input, and the animations are detailed despite being 2.5D art.

RPGs should focus on storytelling. You don't need to play every game. Three can be enjoyed without the first two, but the second should come after the first. I’d review all of them, as the story is really great.

They might be available for purchase during the sale (items 1 and 2) on Steam now. Thanks!

highlight as a strong shooter, though I still think it's a good idea to go through the tutorial once the game starts. before making any judgments.

I don’t recall the exact details, but I think I went up a ladder.

Interesting choice! Dark Souls and Lord of the Fallen are both intense experiences. Divinity: Original Sin doesn’t seem to align well with control preferences.

Well, if you truly played for just five minutes and began from the very start, it would be impossible to skip the tutorial. I found the storyline quite engaging because it hints at a future we might all have to consider someday. The combat was strong, the dialogue choices were thoughtful and could significantly influence the game's outcome in different ways. There was a lot of freedom to shape your character and approach objectives in the way you preferred. I’d recommend giving it another look—it’s worth it for around $5 on sale, though everyone’s value will differ. I really enjoyed my experience and am eagerly looking forward to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
