Check the official website for the latest CPU-Z version and date. If discrepancies remain, contact their support for clarification.

Version 7D08v21 is what MSI lists, but the BIOS shows the build date, and the site displays the QC completion date. The numbers seem inconsistent. I’d likely upgrade for the security fix, though I don’t expect major concerns.

You should update to the latest version of the security vulnerabilities or the most recent release available.

Proceed to the latest version, it should represent the improved update.

It depends on whether the issue seems personal or linked to your hardware. If you suspect a motherboard problem, it might be worth checking further. If it feels like a generic glitch, you could skip updating unless you're certain.

I don’t need to be concerned. The details will usually remain quite standard. This particular board lacks Thunderbolt (unless you install a card), which is the problem.

Thunderbolt relies on the USB Type-C connection, but not all USB Type-C ports function as Thunderbolt (though any Thunderbolt port should work with USB). Your motherboard only allows USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) via its USB Type-C, which isn’t a Thunderbolt interface. A BIOS update can’t alter this because the port doesn’t have a Thunderbolt controller attached.
