While playing games today, my screen began to flicker consistently. It happens regularly, every 1-2 milliseconds, rather than randomly. What bothers me most is that it only occurs when I launch games via Steam. When I tried other launchers like Epic Games, the flickering didn’t happen. I attempted to update my GPU drivers via Device Manager, but it reported none were present. Then I installed the newest drivers from Radeon directly. The issue persists, and I’m still unable to resolve it.
Have you accidentally turned on AMD FreeSync or G-Sync? These features sometimes cause screen flickering.
