Using an MSI Z390 Ace with an i7-9700K processor. The BIOS sets the hard drive boot to ACHI, causing a blue screen and machine check exception during automatic repair. Switching to RAID results in an inaccessible boot drive. SSD boots normally on another PC. RAM was replaced to rule out that as a cause. I’m unsure what else to investigate now. Power supply compatibility wasn’t a concern for me. Please help would be greatly appreciated.
Transfer the OS drive to the other Windows PC. Open Windows and uninstall all motherboard and CPU drivers. If needed, press F8 after removal and turn off driver enforcement. If that doesn't work, install a new operating system. Before starting, delete any desired files.
I transferred this operating system drive to a colleague who also uses an MSI Z390 Ace with an i7-9700K processor. The OS booted smoothly without any issues.
Use F8 during startup. Choose boot mode without driver enforcement.
It looks like you might have misinterpreted the situation, but the window seems to be attempting to start. Likely, a new installation would be the most effective solution.
