Have trouble connecting Windows 10 to your display?
I have an Alienware X51 and I came home to try waking it up after turning it on earlier for installing Windows 10. Instead of seeing anything, I got a blank screen with just a mouse cursor. Since my monitor lacks an HDMI port, I moved the tower to my TV and connected an HDMI cable—it worked. I attempted to switch back to 8.1 because I’m not feeling great about this setup and am frustrated with it. I’m wondering if there’s any workaround or alternative solution. I don’t want to replace the monitor just because it functions, and I don’t want to use my desktop on the TV.
