Hello. I'm looking to lower the CPU voltage without sacrificing performance or applying any overclocking. I need stock components. Here are my specs: Gigabyte AORUS RTX 3070 Master Graphics Card, Gigabyte AORUS Z590i Ultra motherboard, Intel Core i9 11900KF, Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB 3200Hz, Crucial 2TB M.2 SSD, CoolerMaster ML240R AIO liquid cooler with side-mounted radiator and exhaust fans, and a 850W CoolerMaster SF240R power supply. The case uses Radiator V and Top fans for airflow. I ran Prime95 benchmarks in BIOS, adjusting the Vcore offset to 0.001v but the system froze. I suspect additional BIOS settings like LLC need tweaking. The VID max is 1.2590v (Prime95, no AVX, smallest FFT), with VRout maxes around 1.340v and 1.289v on average. CPU temps hit 90°C even with AIO cooling, and room temperature is 19°C. Any advice?
It's currently configured as Auto (default). I attempted to switch it to Standard, adjusted Vcore to Voltage Override, reduced by -0.001v, but that didn't resolve the issue with Prime95. It seems there might be something wrong with my settings.
I don't remember if the vcore on that motherboard was offset. When it crashed, the voltage reading while idle wasn't clear to me.
I performed a Cinebench R23 multicore benchmark. The maximum Vcore stock value is 1.368, core clocks are set to 4.9Ghz, and some cores hit temperatures above 90°C. Before adjusting anything, these are my current configurations.

It seems my reasoning might have been off. Load line calibration adds extra voltage when the CPU is active to make up for it. Choosing "low" or "medium" provides a small boost when needed. Pairing this with reduced 1 core and 2 core speeds in the BIOS, along with a low voltage setting, often results in stable performance and fewer thermal issues. Instead of relying on a negative offset, manually set the vcore. Since you're already verifying the vcore in Windows, you can adjust it slightly lower and proceed accordingly. I thought a negative offset was being used before, which might be why settings seem to favor it.
You're on the right track. My simplicity is the issue. You were right about using negative offset—look at the 4th screenshot. I set the Vcore voltage to -0.001v and it became unstable. Following your advice, should I lower the frequency of the two hottest cores by 100MHz and adjust a fixed voltage in Vcore? Also, if I'm reducing voltage, do I need to modify anything in the LLC? Lastly, what are your thoughts on the AVX configuration?
