Have issues with your bootable U.S.B? Let me know how I can assist you.
I lost my Windows disk and now I’m starting fresh with a new PC. I went for an ISO and tried to boot from a U.S.B, but kept running into issues. Both Rufus and another flash tool gave me errors—Rufus reported reading problems with the UDF file. When I tried to do it manually, the download size dropped from 3GB to just about 832KB! It’s confusing. Could anyone help identify the problem or suggest another way to boot from USB? I’m hoping for a Windows 7 solution. Thanks!

I usually rely on Rufus at https://rufus.akeo.ie/. Edit: Didn't notice you were using Rufus already 😅
I encountered a comparable problem with the UDF file "rubbish." It seems you should mount the image first, then re-save it as an ISO using specific settings. I’ll check the details and see if I can assist further. This link might help: http://www.intowindows.com/fix-the-selec...load-tool/
You obtained the Windows ISO from a torrent and created a bootable USB drive using a specific tool.
The application from Windows fails when using a fake or unauthorized license.
Here are all the links for downloading Windows 7 ISOs from Microsoft’s Digital River file hosting. These files won’t work without a valid license; they install a 30-day trial and are completely legal to download: http://www.w7forums.com/threads/official...ads.12325/. You can use the software mentioned above, but Rufus often handles some issues they encounter. If you run into more problems, just let me know.
