I configured the motherboard for the initial startup and it launched with a GPU in slot 1. After turning it off briefly while setting up a case, I powered it back on but it wouldn’t boot. I tested various GPUs without success, so I checked the bottom slot and accessed the BIOS. The PCIe x16 slot showed no information, so I used the bottom slot for the GPU. I searched for fixes but couldn’t locate a solution in the BIOS CPU settings for this Ryzen 5 3800X system with the listed components. All GPUs functioned properly.

Try reseating the CPU, it might be a simple issue like a bad contact.

Hello, the "N/A" reading from the slot is typical when no device is connected. But it's unusual that it doesn't work with the graphics card in that slot. I'd try clearing the CMOS first, and if that doesn't help, I'll reach out to Gigabyte support.
