I'm considering using a pyramidal Peltier for cooling, reaching around -50°C. Is this approach practical? Will it consume a lot of power or cause overheating on the opposite side? Have others tried similar coolers? Please let me know.

It will require a significant amount of power, so consider using a phase changing cooler if you want to keep your CPU cold. Also remember to insulate everything around and on the back of the CPU to prevent water condensation.
