Have any problems with the temperature?
Hmm, it seems I’m facing some temperature concerns. I’m trying to organize the specs—yes, I’m working on an upgrade. The system includes a Case Phantek Enthoo Pro with an Asus Z10PE-16 WS motherboard running dual Xeon E5-2640 v4 processors at 2.4GHz base and 3.4GHz boost (each). It’s paired with two Noctua 14 drives at 128GB DDR4, 2400MHz, plus a Kingston EVG GTX 1080 SC (SLI), one M.2 Samsung EVO 950 Pro 256GB drive, a WD Blue 1TB SSD, a Samsung EVO 850 1TB SSD, and front intake fans Ph-f200, rear exhausts 120mm and 140mm, plus two Noctua intake and two top exhaust fans. I have six case fans, three intake and three exhaust fans, and CPU fans too. I’m not an expert; I build my own cases haphazardly, so cable management could be improved. After some learning, I think the fans aren’t reaching expected speeds—they’re stuck around 300-500rpm or so, which isn’t ideal. The HWINFO64 shows most temps are normal even under load, but it doesn’t display SYSTIN or CPUTIN readings like the others do. The motherboard reports 103°C, and SpeedFan confirms the CPU temperature is also around that number. It seems the readings are stable but not high enough. I’m wondering if a dedicated spot temp monitor would help confirm the situation. Just to be sure, I should trust these numbers now?
I recommend trying AI suite 3 and consulting the fan expert there. You’ll be able to choose which temperature sensor your fans should react to. The CPU header will always match the internal CPU sensor, but the rest can be configured with other ASUS temperature sensors. Feel free to adjust the fan curve to suit your needs.
Confirmed it doesn't function with my motherboard either, and it isn't accessible as an official download for my motherboard via ASUS.
ah yeah was something free from asus that could have work... this one is free.. watch this video.. and download it from the link below the video. so you can controll the fans on your GPU's CPU's Case... some PSU's.. probably not yours.
I'm still figuring out how everything is set up after taking it down. Are they working? Yes, they spin. But I wonder if they could be improved. I'm not using the fPhantek fan controller, so maybe that would help. I'll try redoing the fans and see if the software can get them running better.
