Have any problems with my build?
I haven't assembled a new PC recently. My focus is mainly on gaming at 1440p with 240hz, especially competitive FPS. I'm not too concerned about the budget; I just want a powerful machine. Do you have any concerns about me having a PC? I've chosen the case because it's already there and operates quietly, which is important to me.
I'm considering the following components:
Fractal Define R7
Intel Core i7 13700K
Noctua NH-D15S
4080 (possibly a 4090 but worried about temperatures)
ASUS TUF Gaming Z790-Plus
Corsair Vengeance 64GB Kit (2x32GB) 6000MH
Corsair RM1000X SHIFT 1000W
Noctua NF-A12x25 Chromax Black case fans
Samsung 990 PRO NVME 1TB
Any suggestions would be great. I'm unsure about air cooling for a 13700K and have never used AMD before.
Consider a chassis with better airflow.
The CPU will work well with an NH-D15.
If you have an RTX4090, consider getting one. The performance improvement between RTX4090 and RTX4080 is significant. RTX4090 offers a substantial upgrade with no concern for temperatures. The performance boost is impressive and definitely worth the investment.
