CPU initially operates at 88W before automatically reducing to 65W after a certain period. Temperatures remain manageable with ample thermal margin. I’m unable to locate the appropriate configuration to maintain the 88W output consistently and for extended periods. I suspect the setting is hidden somewhere, possibly in the manual. I’ve reviewed the support guide at the provided link, but haven’t found it. Personally, I have a stable undervolt setup that works well—holding full performance across all cores. My current board uses a 2700X and can run continuously at 180W with PBO enabled. I’m hoping a similar setting exists for my B450 model, even though it’s a different chipset and power profile. If this isn’t possible, I’ll accept it as normal.

The board could become too hot and reduce performance, so monitor its temperatures.

Board shows stable temperatures, VRM stays below 60°C consistently. It reminds me of APU STAPM or Intel PL1/PL2 designs, though I’m unsure about the specific override settings. If I tweak the OC manually, sustained CPU temps can hit around 110W with under 80°C, especially when using Wraith Spire instead of Stealth—this adds significant cooling demand and fan performance.
