The issue seems more related to the device stopping suddenly rather than a QVL problem. This can occur sometimes.

I had some issues, but I was still having a good time playing. I understand how hardware works and its limitations. Now I have to hold off until Wednesday for the new set I ordered.

I noticed a question you have. It would be wise to reset the CMOS once you receive the new kit before installing the sticks. You mentioned having no RAM installed and that XMP was enabled—consider clearing the CMOS for optimal performance.

It usually doesn't matter, most boards clear CMOS when new memory is found. As long as it's safe to do so, clearing it can be fine.
