I assembled my initial PC. After an hour of construction, I felt prepared to install Windows and start playing Minecraft. I powered it on, configured the USB drive for installation, then saved and exited. After switching the PSU off and on, I noticed no fans spinning, an LED indicating CPU activity flashed rapidly, and nothing occurred. I checked every component—GPU was functional, CPU cooler connected properly, RAM re-seated multiple times, PSU paperclip tested, front panel connectors aligned, CMOS cleared several times. I considered removing the 8-pin CPU connector and plugging it back in, which worked. All fans were running except the white case fan (unconnected), and SSHD was active. Could it be the CPU is faulty? Is the PSU bad? Did a connection in the motherboard fail? HELP ME PLEASE! 20200604_091309(1).mp4

Detailed specifications? Some B450 models don’t meet the AGESA standard out of the box—it might be that

I’m assuming everything is brand new. Have you checked a different PSU, perhaps from a friend? Make sure the CPU is functioning correctly.
