You're preparing to upgrade your system and noticed some issues with the CPU socket on your Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite. The socket appears slightly damaged, possibly with a small crack. Have you tried any repairs or fixes yourself? You've already reported it to Gigabyte as well.

no if the cpu socket is not perfectly alinged you could risk bending pins/pins not connecting if you try to reset it you could do something sketchy but its not worth risking your cpu/having gigabyte invalidating your warranty get gigabyte to send you a new board

I purchased the board from NewEgg or Amazon. If it's still within the 14 or 30-day window, you can request a replacement directly from the seller. No need to contact Gigabyte unless the time limit has passed.
