In short, the ASUS X570 with WiFi 6E was previously overclocked but now works fine after a waterblock. I installed a 4090 X570 and it fits perfectly. The setup includes a 1000W power supply, a PSU plus a 6700X, two NVMe drives, and eight SSDs. Before the 4090 upgrade, it ran at 4.9 with steady performance. Now it handles NordVPN and Torrent smoothly, though the PC overheats at 4.6GHz when using UTorrent. The Q-code stays at 00, but the RGB stays on. After a forced restart, it runs for hours. I plan to test apps and switch input to the PS5 while using two monitors for progress. UTorrent occasionally crashes, so dual screens help. Recently I played F1 2022 and noticed overheating despite stable performance. The logs show lots of Ethernet errors before crashes, which happened quickly—under 15 seconds. I suspect power issues since I’ve had this rig heavily overclocked before, plus a 6700X and other components. Maybe the sudden overclock attempt caused the problem? I ordered a 1500 Platinum to try again. Diagnosing this is tricky; power seems likely, but I need more clues. Thanks for the help!
