Started the build with an i7-6700k and a recently upgraded GTX 1080. Encoding an old video for a friend, it felt sluggish at first. When playing BF2, I reached around 60-90 FPS, which was my usual limit. Eventually, I had to stop because 60 FPS was uncomfortable for my eyes. Updated the Nvidia drivers, checked the BIOS settings, and kept XMP mode at 4.8GHz. I ran Cinebench and got around 850, compared to my usual 990-1010. The only change since last time was a Windows 10 update. Anyone else experiencing the same problem? I hope it’s not a Microsoft issue that will be fixed soon. I’m using Windows 10 Pro Ver 1803. Thanks!

No, it is not Windows 10 1809. It appears to be a different version or a mislabeled file.

It appears Microsoft changed your PC from a high-performance tiger to a slow turtle.

It's a well-known Microsoft thing, I've heard about disk usage problems with Windows 1803. My ITX setup isn't used often, so this release likely came a while back. I've also learned the October patch caused major headaches for Microsoft.

Sure, I can help with that. Would you like me to proceed with uninstalling the problematic Windows update?

It seems you're considering alternative operating systems. ReactOS might be a better fit at this stage, while Windows 10 or TempleOS could also be worth exploring.

Yeah, honestly I don’t use my ITX system much at all—it’s just frustrating. I’m not sure if I’d go that far, but it might be worth considering.
