Has the GPU slot broken?
My computer recently started having crashes, thinking it was a GPU cooling problem. I replaced the thermal paste and cleaned the area, but it still failed after a short period. After trying it in my brother's machine, it worked properly. The person who cleaned my GPU suggested the power supply unit might be faulty, which matches what you saw in the video. I bought a new PSU but didn’t notice any improvement. I’m not very tech-savvy, but the motherboard could be the issue. I’m considering getting another opinion since I’ve spent a lot on the PSU and can’t afford a new board. I’ve seen some videos suggesting a BIOS problem, but without a display, it’s hard to troubleshoot. The crashes only happen when under stress and then disappear after restarting. After installing an update (Windows Cumulative 10.0.22614), the system entered full-screen no-display mode, likely related to Windows Update 20220429_215542743.mp4.
We require more details than what's currently available. Full specifications—CPU, motherboard, RAM, PSU (both old and new)—are essential. If you're not comfortable with tech, bring it to a nearby repair shop for a proper diagnosis. The power button may be loose, misaligned, or damaged; the failure could also stem from a broken component. You can also contribute by supporting local businesses. As mentioned before, without specifics and the video doesn't clarify needed fixes, we can't proceed effectively. (Also note some GPUs have a low-speed mode that shuts fans off when unused.)
