Has frame rate limit been established after driver updates?
After recently updating my 1080ti’s drivers, my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive now runs at a maximum frame rate of 165Hz, matching my monitor’s refresh rate. Despite setting the new NVIDIA control panel to disable FPS limiting, this persists. Could someone offer assistance, or would I need to revert back to my previous drivers and remove this recently added functionality? Thank you in advance.
Are you running any other programs that restrict your display’s speed? For example, have you checked if MSI Afterburner is active? Also, please verify that vertical synchronization has been enabled by default in your NVIDIA Control Panel. However, it’s important to note that obtaining a higher frame rate than your monitor's refresh rate offers no advantage.
