I don’t recall running the Ryzen 7 4800H at such high temperatures during tests. If someone with the same processor has similar results, it might be worth checking. I’m still looking into whether the thermal paste could be the issue or if the heatsink needs attention.
It's elevated, the max is 105°C and you reached 110 on the core at one moment which isn't good. Does it hit this limit during games or whatever tasks you usually run? Cinebench shows a lot of synthetic stress that doesn't really reflect real-world performance while playing. Make sure your vents are clear, check if the fans are running, see if the heat sink stays attached or detaches. You might want to reapply it if you're okay with doing so.
I don’t play heavily CPU demanding titles, yet I tried Forza Horizon 5 as a test and used MSI Afterburner for performance checks. Inside the game, the CPU temperature hovered near 85°C (possibly per core rather than total die temp) and occasionally spiked to about 100°C before dropping back. The fan operated smoothly without stalling. The heatsink fit snugly, though I noticed a minor issue: once during cleaning I bent it slightly and had to straighten it again. I’m unsure if that affected performance, but the thermal paste suggests the heatsink could exert pressure on both GPU and CPU dies.
