Yesterday, I acquired GTA 5 through Steam. Following the installation, I encountered a “Error: GTA 5 exited unexpectedly” message and was presented with suggestions for safemode utilizing reduced graphics settings, neither of which successfully resolved the issue. I would appreciate your help in addressing these problems and am willing to share any relevant log files.

I am experiencing a comparable problem: when I launch the game and play online, it usually works fine until around 40 minutes in, at which point it closes and Rockstar displays a message indicating that GTA 5 exited unexpectedly. I have attempted troubleshooting by verifying my files, removing the Rockstar launcher and Social Club, updating my drivers, inspecting my firewall settings, yet the issue persists. Notably, I received this game as a gift through Steam just a few days ago.
