My teenager, whom I deeply care about, tends to be easily fooled. I tried using an aimbot, but it caught me, and I was banned—perfectly fine. Now I hear it’s a hardware issue, so no one can play Fortnite anymore. Which parts should be replaced? Anyone has helpful tips for people who aren’t very tech-savvy?

It seems like you're referring to an IP restriction. Trying another device can help confirm if the issue is tied to that particular machine.

I came across an article suggesting the initial restriction is IP-based and temporary. You might consider using a VPN, though this could violate EPIC's terms of service and lead to more serious consequences. Review the email linked to your account for detailed information about the ban conditions. It seems your child may need to spend time outdoors again. Also, running Eset and Malwarebytes on that device could help confirm there’s no infection from the aimbot. Good luck.

This restriction involves multiple components, not just a single item like a motherboard. We don't help bypass any bans. For assistance, reach out to Epic support. System is locked.
