Absolutely, plus the 24-hour highs really smooth things out. #PointlessThread I rarely play Battlefield anymore, though I own both Battlefield 4 plus the premium version and Hardline with premium. Each is solid on its own, and I actually lean more toward the theme in Hardline compared to 4. As others mentioned, the weapon unlock rules are pretty terrible.
They removed a lot of what BF loved. It makes sense the game is facing widespread dislike or being ignored by critics who aren’t compensated by EA.
Companies often overlook such issues, but I’m here because I genuinely care about the franchise. I enjoy the game and aim to support its success. What I understand is that releasing it every year isn’t ideal, as DICE did when Battlefield 3 came out (source: http://www.vg247.com/2011/08/03/dice-ann...franchise/). This title was essentially a financial windfall, lacking depth compared to Battlefield 4. There’s minimal destruction, which is what makes Battlefield stand out among other FPS games. You’re probably thinking about how a game’s quality depends on player numbers, but I’m not making assumptions. If fewer people play it, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a bad game—especially when compared to a game nearly two and a half years old.
Absolutely, you fit the role. Let others' views sway you—don’t let it shape your own thoughts. Standing firm is key; trust your judgment and form your own perspective. The fact you’re tracking numbers shows you’re more concerned with external opinions than your own beliefs. You’re following the crowd, which isn’t wise. If you enjoy the game, ask why you’re so focused on others’ numbers instead of your own passion. You’re missing the point. This isn’t just about money—it’s about staying true to yourself.
I'm examining the 24-hour views between the two screenshots. Xbox One and PS4 are seeing many players, while PC, X360, and PS3 have declined noticeably.
