The system experienced frequent reboots and power issues. Replaced the power supply unit. Successfully ran 15 times on TS Extreme. Same problems continue. Removed a RAM stick, issue persisted. Swapped another RAM module, still facing the same problem. Temperatures remain stable. Updated to a different power strip using the same outlet. Continued issues. Disconnected the FPANEL header and external USB keyboard. Tested multiple outlets and power strips. The problem appeared randomly over the past month or two. The mini fridge is connected to this circuit along with other devices, but nothing else loses power. Located in U.S. Iowa; older housing but not excessively maintained. Clicking sounds similar to an OCP/OPP shutdown—like a relay being cleared. Next step could be a new circuit and possibly a UPS. (I own a 10900K, Z490, two RAM sets, a 12900K, z690, 2 GPUs, and 3 PSUs; I’m struggling to understand this situation.)

Just for fun... have you looked at the cooling fans? Or maybe tried turning off all the cooling fans (including the CPU heatsink fans) to see if any of them are making a strange noise? Be careful not to leave the computer running for more than a couple of minutes when you unplug the heatsink fan, but it’s a good way to check if the sound comes from one of the fans.

My thought is the noise appeared just before or during a shutdown; this suggests a power supply problem. Others thought it might be due to a brief voltage spike. It seems like a single click, similar to what happens when something is reset. I was unsure because the system had a 10900kf and a 6900XT that were fully overclocked before—never experienced issues. After taking it out of the case, there were only two fans and a pump from a Z63 connected to it. Everything else was minimal, like a keyboard and a USB mouse adapter. I remain fairly sure the noise comes from the PSU. When I plugged the cables straight into my Isotel Ultra 4 Filterbank, I could actually hear the arcing. So I’m not sure if this is directly from the PSU or possibly from a faulty filterbank, especially since it’s an older model.
