This setup should still work temporarily. You have three of the four screws holding it together, which is enough to keep it functional for now. The cooler issue might affect performance but shouldn't cause immediate damage. As long as you keep it stable, it should be usable for a while.
It seems you're likely okay. Of course the temperatures will rise, but everything should still function properly. I recommend mounting the cooler, testing the temperatures during load, and if it stays below 80°C, you're all set.
