I observed these phrases repeatedly every few seconds: "It got worse," "It keeps getting worse," "It can't get worse than this—oh... Oh dear..." "Oh my god, how do you do something this badly," "Make it stop," "It's still getting worse." My thoughts kept circling around being impressed. Clearly, fixing such a poorly designed options menu must have required significant effort. It truly felt like an options menu from Hell.
Can’t it be both? I found myself laughing at all the awkward moments he had in the video. It’s a bit concerning because I’m thinking about getting the Xbox One disc and the digital Ultimate Edition so I can play on both platforms. But I’m unsure if the PC version is worth it given the clunky menus and controls. Unless Microsoft fixes these issues quickly, I’m worried about how well the PC release will perform for Halo Wars.
