We’ve been diving into Halo: CE lately, and one of my friends stumbled on Halo: Custom Edition. After some digging, I think it’s the top mod for any Halo title. I’ve checked Silent Cartographer, The Truth and Reconciliation, and now I’m ready to dive in. This discussion was meant to be packed with questions, but after about two hours of research I’ve gathered everything I need. The Truth and Reconciliation mission is already out, and Silent Cartographer will launch in just over a week. Other upcoming missions include Halo, Assault on The Control Room, and Pillar of Autumn. I also added some polls to see what everyone thinks. Here’s a quick campaign trailer and mission teaser: the Silent Cartographer mission preview, plus details on CMT’s Halo missions. I just need to clarify something—what if someone tried to activate Halo: Custom Edition without a legitimate product key? Would they still need the original CD-ROM? Not really, there’s a patch available for download. You can get it here: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=4987. The CD-ROM check at startup is no longer necessary. Halo: CE download link: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=410. Most popular maps are listed here: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?pg=1&sid=10. I’m really excited, and I hope CMT finishes a remastered version by the end of the year. Let me know what you all think! Cheers!

Seriously do, there are some additions that contradict the storyline but I still like them. Just wish that the Master Chief Collection was coming out for PC, then I could play an awesome ass version of Halo: CE and then remastered versions of Halo 2 (my favorite) and Halo 3.

Brutes exist within the Truth and Reconciliation process, yet they were excluded from the Supreme Commander's Fleet due to conflicts between brutes and elites.

I understand, I'll need to check it out myself.
