I had a rough day... What do you think is more frustrating—Smurfs or hackers in CSGO?

Spotted a cheating attempt, casually taking headshots without using scopes. If I hit someone, they'd fall and it would continue. Everyone in the game mentioned it, so it's likely he got banned. The Smurfs aren't that bad after all.

You prefer not to face stronger opponents. Competing against players of higher skill motivates you to improve.

It varies. I mostly run into a few hackers, but they usually get banned quickly. But smurfs... It really depends on the type. If it's someone with 8k hours and verified, then yes, it's the most frustrating. If it's someone pretending to be a pro just to get kills and act superior, then no, it's less bothersome because they usually aren't very skilled.

I encountered some cheerful smurfs who only let a balanced opportunity for opponents, and they showed the players in the lobby how to boost their ranks.

when i log in with my "smurf" account it's just for chatting with my silver ranked teammates, so i usually switch to a deagle or scout.

Hackers are often viewed negatively due to their trolling behavior. Those Smurfs who act positively should be studied. As a LEM I encounter many global Smurfs but very few hackers. Hackers can be both bothersome and educational depending on the situation. Treat them kindly and they may share valuable insights. Plus, if you manage to befriend them, they’ll often wait for you, giving you excellent practice opportunities.

When the opposing team has a smurf, it doesn't play easily against you and your friends often. It's really frustrating because we rarely get a chance to shoot and we're out of luck. Depending on your skill level—probably silver with lots of smurfs—I guess—but there are also smurfs who play nicely but restrict themselves.

Hackers are even worse. Smurfs can be bothersome when they disrupt the game for their group, and those who intentionally play to lower scores and sabotage the match also frustrate me constantly.
