So I'm not very familiar with motherboards, and I'm not great with the specs. I think I made a big mistake with my last purchase. In July, I bought a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM to upgrade my rig, which included a 7600k so I could overclock. I was okay with the speeds and frame rates in games at the time, so I didn't plan to overclock much yet. Now I'm wondering why I haven't done it before, but recently when I checked my BIOS settings, most of the options are locked and can't be changed. Did some research and I don't think it can be overclocked in any way, though I'm not sure. Just curious if anyone knows what to do with this board. Thanks.

there is no option. you must use a motherboard with a Z270 chipset to achieve overclocking. the H270 offers similar capabilities but lacks overclocking and SLI support.
