the setup depends on how the plug/port is positioned, and if it's vertical or horizontal it affects charging. If you're unsure, checking benchmarks for a 4690k would help clarify what to expect in terms of voltage.

sorry, got a 6600k so temperatures will vary
and it also depends on how you load test. I don’t like using tools like prime95; I just load my system fully by running everything normally.

And if you find yourself needing to open the port, do it gently and steadily. You'll likely notice a slight release of air as you proceed; opening it quickly might push small amounts of liquid out.
