Hi, your MSI H110M PRO-D works well with a Pentium G4560 and the I7 7700K is the top choice for this board. Running the i7 7700K should keep the VRMs from overheating with the Hyper212 cooler.

But what value do you receive for the 7700k? Usually, relocating the platform is more cost-effective than purchasing it outright.

For 150 you're near a 10100 + board or even better a 12100f (about 100€) plus another board for a bit more, but it's still worth it with a clear and wide upgrade route. Spending 150 on a 7700k on a low-end H110 might not be a good deal.
