I began playing again after launch and chose to restart. I lost my previous account details, so I started fresh. Anyone interested in creating a new character together?

I own the game but struggled to connect with it. After all, my character starts at level 16.

I'm almost every day online—just let me know if you want to play. My account is EChondo.6750, and you can message me in-game. *Note: I run my own Teamspeak server, where my cousin and friends chat. In GW2, the max party size is five, and we have four here now. Feel free to join my Teamspeak if you're interested. We don't usually play dungeons, but we might be getting ready for them. If you have any questions or need help.*

Curious about your enjoyment of the game? It might be worth investing some time to experience it firsthand, especially since your character is at level 16.

I generally have a strong aversion to MMOs due to the repetitive grind, but in Guild Wars 2 that becomes less noticeable unless you remain in one spot for extended periods and kill mobs without pause—similar to the South Park reference about World of Warcraft. While I can appreciate not enjoying leveling up, it’s not a major issue. You might consider joining a guild or friends to play together. If your goal is to reach level 80 quickly, following a crafting guide like Gw2Crafts.net could help, though it will require a significant investment of in-game currency and only offers about 7-10 levels per profession before hitting 400. You can also farm with a commander in Edge of the Mists and participate in PvP matches to earn Tomes of Knowledge, which boost your level by one each time—though you’ll need to work for them. The endgame in Guild Wars 2 includes diverse options such as dungeons, PVP, WvWvW/EotM, map completion, world bosses, farm trains, mystic forging, and crafting ascended/legendary items. Occasionally there are in-game events, and a new expansion called Heart of Thorns is on the horizon. I really enjoy Guild Wars 2 because it offers a wide variety of activities compared to other MMOs I’ve played. It’s worth your time if you’re into Warrior, though I’ve been trying Mesmer and Thief a bit—especially Thief for its mobility, which makes me think about switching my main character. You may want to try different classes; when creating a new character, head over to the PvP lobby with them to explore what each class can do, especially since you can level up to 80 while playing PvP. I fully understand your perspective. While I dislike the repetitive nature, reaching end-game content is what matters. For leveling, I’m okay as long as the story remains engaging, though it feels sparse lately. The last MMO with a compelling narrative was Lich King. Maybe I’ll try a new character and class to find something more enjoyable than my current archer setup. Honestly, most of my friends play on consoles, so I usually solo through GW2. I enjoy exploring the game’s landscapes and wandering around. Thank you for your feedback—I’ll give it another try and see how it goes.
