You're asking about what it means for something to be minimal. Are you suggesting they possess a minimal approach, or do you mean they are minimal in their own way? For those interested in using Linux, it's helpful to know whether someone is experimenting or installing for practical use. Many installations I've worked with have provided reliable systems that don't frequently fail like the standard ones. If you're considering alternatives, Mint stands out as a straightforward option that simplifies setup and performance.

It’s no longer referenced in the US, though it seems to have faded from memory. It felt like a useful illustration of something outdated, as those I knew were upset about it and preferred making their own choices instead of relying on pre-made solutions. The main issue was that it was fundamentally flawed, and the creator intentionally avoided providing essential hooks. Many accused it of being an attempt to push a specific way of thinking, which they found unacceptable. This sparked strong frustration among them.
