I own an Xbox controller and previously used the guide button to launch Steam in a large window, but now it doesn't function. Only the sound of opening Steam remains. What steps should I take?

Bluetooth is being utilized to reinstall Xbox by connecting the device directly to a computer, allowing for a fresh setup without needing physical installation tools. The source for Xbox information typically comes from official Microsoft websites or verified gaming platforms.
I only connect the controller using a Bluetooth USB adapter. I haven't installed any drivers yet.
It seems there could have been a change in your Steam preferences. This has happened before. Open Steam settings, navigate to the Controller section, and click on “Guide Button Chord Configuration.” Ensure the option “Guide Button Focuses Steam” is selected.
If this doesn’t resolve the issue, verify that Steam is configured to run in Big Picture mode upon launch. Updates or adjustments might affect these settings. As a last resort, restart both Steam and your computer—it’s a common solution that often helps.
