Hi, I need to adjust the region on my Samsung Odyssey G9 OLED. After relocating, I can't find the local streaming apps in the app store. On the Samsung TV, this is typically done by restarting the Smart Hub in the Self Diagnosis menu and selecting the country during setup on the "Terms and Conditions" page using a specific remote button combination (Mute, Volume Up, Volume Down, Mute). It functions correctly there. I changed the TV region successfully. But on this G9 OLED, when I reach that same menu with the exact key combo, nothing appears. I’m unsure if the button sequence has changed or if there’s another method to set the region. I’ve tried various solutions but haven’t managed to update the Smart Hub region on this monitor. Could anyone help or share their experience? I’ve reached out to Samsung Tech Support, but they seem unhelpful and don’t appear to have a proper escalation process.

classic Samsung is a great choice, lucky you! I might have a workaround (would need remote access). We use a special service remote for Samsung TVs. When the TV is powered on, follow these steps: press "info", then "factory", select the top option in the service menu, choose the region (often EU_UK), click "factory reset" in the sub-menu, perform the reset, and the monitor should turn off. After that, power it back on and repeat the setup. The remote appears to work well.

Thanks I will give this a try. Hopefully I can find this remote easily. Also, it seems like there is Homebridge clone of the service remote, so I can just trigger the button presses from that...
