Hello, I recently purchased a WD Black SN750 1TB NVMe SSD, but I realized that using it on my motherboard made some of them hard to locate due to lane limitations. My question is, if I install an PCIe expansion card and add the NVMe drives there, can I run all five SSDs on the side via SATA? My motherboard model is the MSI Z170 Krait Gaming. Thank you in advance.

Why opt for a single SATA PCI card with four ports instead of a more complex setup?

They cost twice as much here compared to what I’m used to. That’s why I’m curious about whether it would be effective elsewhere.
