I recently upgraded my pc and purchased a budget titanium (original) with waterblock from ebay. I'm planning to overclock and overvolt it, but I want to avoid reducing its lifespan. My goal is for it to last five years, and up to eight years at most. I've already overclocked it to 1070mhz on the core and 7ghz on the memory. The voltage hasn't been adjusted yet. It's currently bios modded with a full cover EK waterblock. How much overvolting can I do before the lifespan drops below my target?
How affordable is it? Keep in mind the original Titan is now less powerful than the GTX 1060 6Gb and uses significantly more energy—two to three times more. Think about its age too; it’s unlikely to last another five years even with overclocking.

Power use isn’t a big concern, though it could easily exceed 250w, possibly reaching 300w. With my current settings, I’m around a 1070 in benchmarks. My goal is to have the card last five years, not just stay competitive. I’m only using it for compute tasks and need the DP. I don’t have funds for a Titan X model. My main question is: how much can I push my card without it failing within five years?
