Hey all,
I just got done fiddling around with my Asus Strix GTX 970 in Precision x16 and Unigine Valley. After hours of playing with sliders i came to conclusion that my chip just won't go past 1490Mhz base and 3860 Mem. I was pretty satisfied with the memory clock, but i was really eager to hit that 1500mhz magical boost but i kept on crashing until i settled in on 1483Mhz base and 3860Mhz memory. So do i have a bad chip? Oh and Asus locked the voltage slider, i cannot add any voltage whatsoever, so is voltage my short-comming?
Thank you

they achieved bringing the core clock to 1264 and the boost to around 1443.
it seems the chip isn't faulty; it's just the limits of what it can handle.
