I purchased an Asus GTX 750Ti 2GB OC Edition a couple of years ago for my PC, and it’s beginning to show its age. To boost performance, I opted to overclock it. It’s running smoothly, and the Asus model features a 6-pin PCI-E connector that should aid in further overclocking. During my first attempt, I managed a 450 MHz offset on the memory clock and a 150 MHz offset on the core clock. Others are reporting 530 MHz for memory and 220 MHz for core. Is this normal or is there an issue? I have a 475W PSU, an i7 920 at 2.67GHz, 8GB RAM, a Dell 0X501H motherboard, and the latest Nvidia drivers. I’m using MSI Afterburner for overclocking. When I had a 485 MHz memory offset and a 175 MHz core offset, GTA V would crash after about 30 minutes of play. I rely on Heaven Benchmark to track artifacts and performance. Could you help me achieve better results with my GPU?
Those individuals adjusting the 220mhz on the core likely have the standard clock rates of the 750 Ti. If your Asus model is factory overclocked, then it might explain why you don't see higher speeds, even though you're capable—because some of the effort was already done for you. 😉
What's your maximum clock speed? I managed to reach 1430mhz on my 750 Ti FTW.
Memory clock reaches 3150 MHz, while the maximum core clock displayed in MSI Afterburner is 1365 MHz. In Unigine Heaven's top right corner, next to graphics, it shows 1496 MHz.
Yeah, don't focus too much on that unigine heaven clock speed, it's the same for all your graphics cards. 1365MHz is still quite good. Unless you're aiming for the highest scores, gaming at 1365 is about 3fps compared to around 1450mhz (which is the top with a BIOS tweaked to 750).
