I was considering purchasing a monitor and wondered how well the GTX 1070 would perform in GTA V at 1440p with ultra and high settings. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum! For ultra 1440p, the 1070 won't be sufficient. Starting with a 1070Ti, RTX 2060, GTX 1080, and Vega 64 is the best choice for these demanding settings in a high-resolution game.

According to the benchmarks, the 1070 can achieve an average of 70-80 fps in GTA V at 1440p with ultra settings.

GTA 5 remains outdated and lenient at first, but once you upgrade to those graphics-enhancing mods, it becomes much better.
