the list indicates support for the evga 1070 sc acx 3.0, but the ftw version isn't included. would the waterblock function with it? i think the actual gpu block would match, though i might be mistaken.

Which section are you examining? I'm checking EK's website and noticed the 1080 and 1070 jEVGA FTW versions. The same block works for both models.

No issue, happy to assist. I just completed integrating my 1080 with full-cover block this weekend. The highest temperature recorded is 40°C in both 3Dmark tests and gaming. Idle temps range from 30 to 32°C. Significantly lower than 83°C full load with stock cooler.
