Hi, I'm trying to figure out why you're experiencing these lag spikes in BF1 multiplayer. It seems like the graphical settings don't seem to matter much, but it still happens. Even when the game runs at 60 frames per second, it drops to around 45 or 22 in certain situations. This is really annoying and hurts my eyes. I assume your GPU should handle this smoothly, but it doesn't. I'm not sure if your hard drive, RAM, or power supply is the issue—your other components look fine. Your friend with a 960 seems to have fewer lag spikes, which is confusing. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

Pc specs:
- CPU: i5-4690K (3.5GHz, not overclocked)
- CPU cooler: Hyper 212 EVO
- GPU: GTX 1070 (ASUS)
- RAM: 12GB (1600 MHz)
- HDD: 1TB Toshiba DT01A
- PSU: Corsair CS650M
- Mobo: MSI Z97 PC Mate

Have you tested the Nvidia game optimization for that title?

You've connected your HDMI or Display port to the graphics card correctly.
