GTX 1060 overclocking issues: tearing, artifacts...
I have a PC equipped with an i5 6600k, 8GB RAM, and a GTX 1060 G1 gaming card with 6GB. The issue arises when I slightly increase the GPU speed—screen tearing occurs, or the screen may black out completely, though the game HUD remains visible. Adjusting to lower overclock values reduces tearing, but higher settings cause persistent artifacts, red flickering, and blackouts. My i5 was also overclocked to 4.6GHz.
Boost energy usage to its highest level. You might attempt raising the voltage slightly.
I increased the voltage up to 50 but still saw artifacts and glitches appearing in the Unigine Valley benchmark. I have a 700w PSU, which is a cheap one around 30 euros, especially with rainbow cables. NEVER buy a cheap PSU. Your system is barely running on it—you should invest a bit more. Your GPU might just be of poor quality and not capable of overclocking.

Your GPU might just be of poor quality and not capable of overclocking, that’s what happens.
