I'm using a gtx 1050ti running stable 2012mhz at around 35°C. At 40°C it jumps to 2000mhz and then drops to 48C max on 80% fan speed. At 50°C it hits 1987mhz and crashes, which is odd considering the auto fan curve. What should I do?

It seems you've reached the peak of overclocking. You could lower it back to a stable state and keep it there.

Perhaps boost the card's voltage a bit more.

Maybe increase the card's voltage a bit since it's already capped at 1.1v and can't go higher.
Edit: it has been dropping steadily after I got it.
Initially it supported 2038mhz for several hours at 80% fan speed.
Auto fan speed increased to 55C, but then 2012mhz caused issues.
Now it's crashing at 1976mhz as well.
Why did the 2038mhz work briefly due to temperature?
Currently around 1987mhz at about 45C is stable with 80% fan speed, but crashing above 50°C.
Any suggestions?
